About the role

As Supply Chain Manager (CZ), you are responsible for the operational execution of the supply chain at our Czech site. You ensure that materials, components, and logistics are available on time, in the right quantity and quality, enabling smooth and uninterrupted production and assembly.

In addition, you lead and develop the local supply chain team, ensuring effective collaboration, clear priorities, and strong execution discipline.

Position in the organization

  • Reports hierarchically to: Plant Manager / Operations Director (CZ)

  • Reports functionally to: Head of Supply Chain (NL)

Leads:

  • Planning (MRP/MPS)

  • Operational Purchasing (3 FTE)

  • Logistics (2 FTE)

  • Warehouse (8 FTE)

Your responsibilities

1. Operational supply chain execution

  • Execute material planning (MPS/MRP) based on defined parameters

  • Maintain planning parameters (min/max levels, order quantities, lead times)

  • Ensure timely material availability through purchasing and follow-up

  • Manage inbound logistics and warehouse operations

  • Guarantee uninterrupted supply to production and assembly

2. Planning & coordination

  • Translate supply plans into daily and weekly execution

  • Align closely with Operations and Assembly

  • Provide feedback on capacity constraints and material risks

  • Proactively escalate issues impacting delivery or production

3. Supplier execution & follow-up

  • Monitor supplier confirmations, deliveries, and quality performance

  • Apply escalation procedures when deviations occur

4. Inventory & logistics control

  • Manage inventory within defined policies and targets

  • Control warehouse operations and material flows

  • Prevent shortages, overstock, and disruptions

  • Ensure stock accuracy and transparency

  • Support material supply to assembly lines

  • Perform regular inventory checks

5. Performance & reporting

  • Monitor and report supply chain KPIs to Head of Supply Chain (NL)

  • Provide execution input for S&OP (constraints, risks, performance)

  • Drive continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency

6. Team leadership & people management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the local supply chain team (13 FTE)

  • Set clear priorities and ensure alignment across planning, purchasing, and logistics

  • Drive accountability and performance through structured follow-up and KPIs

  • Ensure effective collaboration within Operations and across departments

  • Support workforce planning, training, and team development

  • Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement

What we request

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing/assembly environment

  • Proven experience in team leadership in an operational environment

  • Strong experience with MRP/ERP systems

  • Hands-on, structured, and execution-focused mindset

  • Strong coordination and communication skills

  • Fluent in Czech and English
