Privacy policy

Modules & Engineering Menzing B.V. located in (7482 GW) Haaksbergen, at the address Handelsstraat 36b, (hereinafter: Menzing) is the data controller as referred to and stated in this privacy statement. Processing on the basis of "Execution of agreement" and/or "Legal obligation".

Execution of the agreement

Menzing engages in the marketing of serial assemblies and related articles through its website. This marketing takes place on the basis of concluded purchase agreements and/or the preceding quotation process. The provision of information by the customer, with the desire to come to an agreement - if possible - may also be included in this process.
In order to process these offers and/or agreements, it is necessary for Menzing to process data. This is done on the basis of "agreement execution".
The data processed in the process may relate to contact, offers/orders and/or companies, as well as data on the basis of which individuals can be identified. These may include

• name and address details,

• delivery addresses,

  email addresses,

  phone numbers,

  bank account numbers or payment details;

• other information that relates to entering into or completing an agreement and that is actively provided by the customer.

Without this information, the correct order information cannot be linked to the correct customer (account) and contact details, making it impossible for Menzing to fulfil agreements correctly and/or to be able to provide the customer with the correct information provided to the customer.

Legal obligation

In addition, the tax administration and retention obligation requires Menzing to keep the data belonging to the basic administration (including data relating to the accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as the purchase and sales records) for 7 years. Only by processing the aforementioned data does Menzing consider itself able to comply with the tax obligation.
With regard to both aforementioned bases, Menzing obtains these data when contact is sought by a (new) relation, this may or may not be via website, contact form of, or (e-mail) correspondence with Menzing, and data are provided by this relation.
Where necessary, these data are processed by Menzing.

Marketingcommunicatie

With regard to marketing activities, various parties and/or programmes may be used to disseminate marketing communications, for example to send newsletters and/or promotional gifts. Through these programmes and parties, data are processed, which may involve data on the basis of which individuals can be identified.
Without the use of these programmes, it is not possible for Menzing to approach existing and new customers.
Before data are recorded and processed for the purpose of these marketing activities, permission is requested from the customer.

Cookies and analysis programmes

For marketing purposes, Menzing may use (the placing of) cookies and programmes to analyse the (cookie) data obtained. This makes it possible for Menzing to conduct market research to a certain extent.
With analysis programmes, it is possible to obtain information that could possibly lead to the identification of a (natural) person. For this reason, these data also fall under the scope of the AVG.
Information about the cookies that are placed and/or analysed by (or on behalf of) Menzing, and the data that may or may not subsequently be processed, can be found at the bottom of this privacy statement.
Also, for the registration and processing of data for this purpose, permission is requested from the customer.
How long are (personal) data kept by Menzing?
According to the tax law, Menzing is obliged to keep data relating to the accounting records for 7 years.
Data obtained through the use of analysis programmes are deleted no later than 50 months after registration. Menzing says it considers this period to be reasonable, as it is necessary to be able to follow up on the results of market research and adjust the product range and policy accordingly.
At the bottom of this privacy statement is an overview of the cookies used and placed, together with the retention period for each cookie.
(Personal) data that are not related to any of the above options are deleted within 6 months of receipt. 6 months after receipt or modified in such a way that the data can no longer be traced back to a specific natural person.

For proper service and operations, Menzing is obliged to engage third parties.

About the service

For the purpose of providing services, the goods ordered through Menzing directly from its affiliated company in the Czech Republic. With this party in the Czech Republic, Menzing shares the data necessary for the proper handling of the agreement(s). This may include the sharing of personal data. Where necessary, Menzing will conclude a processing agreement.

In relation to the company

Menzing uses third-party services and products. Besides the use of administration software and an external accountant, a party providing services in the field of hosting and website maintenance is engaged. Internally, Menzing uses software in the field of orders/inventories and the like, as well as programmes such as Microsoft Office 365. Certain software is thereby used overarchingly by Menzing and its affiliated company in the Czech Republic together. These parties have (limited) access to the data (of relations) of Menzing. Menzing will conclude a processing agreement with these parties when necessary to regulate the protection and use of these data.

With regard to marketing activities

As described earlier, Menzing deploys companies and/or cookies and/or programmes for the purpose of marketing activities. These parties have already collected data and/or will obtain data after it has been used for market research, distribution of newsletters and/or promotional gifts and improvement of website / product range and services. Where necessary, Menzing will enter into a processing agreement with these parties to regulate the protection and use of these data.

Other third parties

No further data will be provided to other third parties without the consent of the Menzing customer. The only exception to this is if required by a statutory provision.

For the use of programmes / parties, Menzing seeks advice from third parties, such as an internet marketing agency. If there is a recommendation to process data outside the EU with a specific party, Menzing will draw up a processing agreement with this party.

Data security

Menzing takes care of organisational and technical measures to secure (personal) data. For instance, together with the hosting party, we check the security of the data we receive after using the web shop and we use a good firewall and anti-virus software.

Third-party websites

This privacy statement does not apply to websites of third parties connected to Menzing by links (or otherwise). Menzing cannot guarantee that these parties handle (personal) data in the desired manner. If required, you are advised to consult the privacy statement of these third parties to find out how they handle data.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have several rights regarding your personal data. These rights are listed below. Right to inspection

You are therefore entitled to access the data Menzing has available about you.

Right of rectification, restriction and deletion

You also have the right to have the data that Menzing has about you corrected, supplemented or deleted in their entirety. With regard to the deletion of data, Menzing must comply with its retention obligation under the Act. Menzing will therefore not be able to remove the data to which this retention obligation applies. All other data (if any) will be removed from Menzing's systems at your express request.
