About the role

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing the product portfolio within your customer portfolio. You will analyse customer and market needs, identify new market opportunities, and translate these into a clear product vision and concrete product roadmaps. In doing so, you will help shape the future development of products and solutions that contribute to the growth of both Menzing and its customers.

As Product Manager, you are the owner of the “what” and “why” of product development. You determine which products should be developed, which opportunities deserve priority, and how new product initiatives contribute to the organisation’s strategic objectives. You support these choices with business cases, market analyses, and revenue forecasts, making well-considered portfolio decisions in close collaboration with the customer.

From this strategic responsibility, you act as the connecting link between the customer, commerce, and engineering. You translate customer and market insights into clear development assignments for engineering, which is then responsible for the technical elaboration and realisation. In addition, you provide timely input to planning, supply chain, and the assembly location in the Czech Republic regarding product introductions, forecast developments, and expected volumes, ensuring the organisation is well prepared for future developments.

You are entrepreneurial, analytical, and commercially minded. You see the bigger picture, think in terms of opportunities, and know how to translate market developments into a future-proof product portfolio. You work independently, take initiative, and move easily between customers, internal stakeholders, and technical specialists.

You will join a growing, down-to-earth organisation where collaboration, short lines of communication, and entrepreneurship are central. You will have a great deal of freedom to further shape the role and make an important contribution to the strategic development of the product portfolio and the further growth of Menzing.
